Our Doctrinal Statement

1.      THE WORD OF GOD – We believe the King James 1611 A.V. to be the inspired,
inerrant, and infallible Word of God (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21).
2.      THE TRINITY
– We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These Three are co-eternal, co-equal, and co-
          existent (Acts 5:30-32, I John 5:7).
3.      GOD THE SON
– We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He was
conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25).
4.      GOD THE SPIRIT
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine person equal with God
the Father and God the Son. He is the agent in the new birth. He convicts of sin,
seals, endues, fills, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and helps the believer
          (John 14: 16-17).
5.      THE ATONEMENT
– We believe in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross
and that all who believe on Him are justified before God and forgiven of their sins
          (Romans 5:9).
6.      THE BODILY RESURRECTION AND PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
– We believe
that Jesus Christ arose from the grave on the third day and that He now sits at the
right hand of the Father, interceding for us (Hebrews 12:2)
7.      SALVATION
– We believe that salvation for the sinner is by grace through faith. All
who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to heaven, and all who reject Christ
will go to hell forever (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:15-18).
8.      ETERNAL SECURITY
– We believe that the security of the believer rests in the
finished work of Christ on the cross and that all the redeemed are kept by the power
          of God (John 10:28).
9.      THE CHURCH
– We believe that the church is a local, visible body of born again
believers, practicing the ordinance of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and fulfilling
          the Great Commission (Acts 2:41-41).
